Cannot be picked because only is/are available from the inventory in AX 2009

When I am closing the Inventory period in AX 2009, I got some issue which is shown below. Then finally I found an option to resolve this type of issue.

“‘Transaction Number’ cannot be picked because only ‘Pending Amount’ is/are available from the inventory”.

Follow the steps if you want solution.

Actual Error:

Item number: Some Item Code which is created by End-User

Physical on-hand

Warehouse=scrap WH

“Cannot be picked because only is/are available from the inventory”.

Update has been cancelled.

Closing is being paused because of an error.

Please fix the problem and resume the calculation.

Solution:

Go to > Inventory Management > Periodic > Closing and Adjustment

Select Active list and check whether any error inventory is shown.

If it shown mean mark and delete that particular Inventory.

Now you check and end the inventory period

Then you exit from the List.
