In AX 2012, while creating
purchase requisition for the created item (procurement category assigned).
Items not appearing in item lookup.
For created Procurement categories
need to map the Items in that Category. There is have two methods to link those
items in the mentioned category.
Method 1:
Goto Procurement and sourcing >> Setup >> Categories >>
Procurement categories
Select the
particular group and choose the Product tab button. From there Click the Add
button.
You can see
the list of all the items which is released by the Item Master.
Select the
items whatever you want to list in the particular group and click Ok button.
OR
Method 2: Following
method is the another method to list the items in the Purchase requisition
Procurement and Sourcing >> Common >> Catalogues
>> Procurement catalogues
Here you can
have the default catalogues, based on this lot of sub-groups is also can be
categorized. Edit the particular catalogue you can see all the listed sub
categories on that.
Click the
Products Fast tab then click the add button you can see all the items to be
listed on it the screen.
Mark the
Items which ever you want map with the particular group. And click Ok button.
Now your
Item has been mapped with the particular Procurement category, based on this
catalogues you can make the transactions.
Then finally
click Enable now your category has been activated. Meet you all on the next blog...!
