Doc management dictionary does not exist in Dynamics AX

When you are uploading any files to Microsoft Dynamics AX, incase if getting any error like this “Archive directory has not been specified.” mean don’t worry about these minor issues. Mostly these errors are comes from Infolog error in AX Dynamics.

We can easily solve the problem by making the following steps as mentioned below.

Organization administration >> Setup >> Document Management >> Document management parameters

If file type is not mentioned Add it from File Type and SAVE it.

If you want to add URL goto SharePont and add the URL and SAVE it.

Specify the default archive directory.

Organization administration >> Setup >> Document Management >> Document Types

Select Import option

Then select the specific document type and specify the archive directory to upload in ERP.

Save it by using Ctrl + S using keyboard.
